Hi there, can anyone please help with the above problem the toilet is a continental/european disign and the flexible hose will not stay in place due to the design of the toilet you can push it into place but it just slides off I have tried all sorts of compounds to help fix it but it still leaks...

yes its downstairs toilet. I will wrap it up with polystyrene around the soil waste outlet (which is 90 deg and boxed) as the unpleasant draft is coming from there. Hope this helps a bit and stop the creatures. Will keep checking for leaks on a monthly basis or so in future. Appreciate your help thanks

Make sure there’s no twisting or stress on pipe or flush cone and make sure pipe is fully inserted - don’t want to be adding siliconeleaking toilet waste pipe as it’s a bodge and better to sort the leak properly and not cover it up Also worth checking it’s definitely leaking from the flush cone and not leaking from cistern end and running down pipe !
